Greetings, Classmates!
I called the front office at MHS this morning, and found out that we face the Cavaliers of Fieldale Collinsville High on Friday, October 10, 2003, for Homecoming 2003, which concidentally, is our 25th year out playing in the traffic.
I am fishing for feedback on whether y'all are interested in putting a relatively casual reunion together for that evening and perhaps Saturday as well.
I will check in with a few other channels to see what interest exists, and we'll move forward. PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO COMMUNICATE--either here or to me on email. We may be able to put together something very enjoyable without the stress and strain of the usual 10-year event.
Remember, contact everyone with whom you're staying in touch, and let them know of our tentative plans. Let's get a grip on participation, and we'll move forward quickly.
I would anticipate gathering at the ballgame, then heading to a restaurant afterwards. I believe Jeannie Sutton and her husband Wayne have opened a very nice establishment where the Hut used to be (Now I'm really dating myself!). Perhaps we can persuade them to allow us to stop in on Friday night.
