| Well, the reunion is over. Both nights classmates seem to have lots of fun! At the Elks everyone was going around and engaging in conversation with each other and just letting go of all the insecurities that they had before they got there. Lots of hugs and smiles were seen through the night. It was so great to see everyone! It was a late night, but most people didn't seem to mind! For some the night continued on until the wee hours. Next, comes Saturday at Chatmoss Country Club. The food was excellent, the DJ was great, but most of all the classmates that I shared time with was the highlight of my night. Once again, hugs, smiles and more beautiful memories were made. The MHS Class of 79 memorabilia was taken down and the candle on the In Memory Table was blown out, but I take away with me a great night spent with people that I love dearly. To each of you, I hope that you had a great time and that your trips home were safe. Whether it be Florida, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Massachusetts, North Carolina or even areas in Virginia, I hope that you will always remember the good times had in Martinsville Virgina! I am sure that I may have left an area out, but this goes out to all classmates. If you didn't attend you really missed out. You were missed and everyone would love to see you when the Class of 79 has another reunion! Hugs, kisses and a big thank you to all of the great classmates of 79. We are MIGHTY FINE! |
