I find it hard to write because this past year has not been an easy one!! I really got to know Sherry Hampton when I started working on the class reunions. She would do anything that was asked of her and she never complained. When she moved to Charlotte she still wanted to help, but I told her that we would try and take care of everything and if we needed her we would let her know. After the reunions we would always talk about how nice it was to see everyone and say that if someone didn't come that they missed out, but so did we because they didn't come!! She cared for each of you! I don't mean to single any particular person out because I miss each and every one of them. I was not very outgoing in school, but I sat back and observed and in my own way kept each and every person in my mind. We have lost some really special people out of our class!! I think that we are now up to eleven of our classmates that have passed away. My heart goes out to each family that has lost a loved one. The older we get the more we have to go through. Be there for the ones that are stuggling with loss and also when they have happy events in there life. All of you mean the world to me because you are part of my Class of 1979 family.
