Class of 1953 Message List
"CLASS ACT" of 1953 Class - 50
02/18/05     Ralph Pruitt  (1957)     
During my brief stay at MHS ... I grew to
know many from this particular class. My
fondest memory of MHS is the daily sighting
of Freddie Kirk strolling through the halls
with his girlfriend, Hope Hensley. Freddie
gets my vote as the "CLASS ACT" for the 1953
class ... and believe me ... there were
many "all aces" students in that class.
Fred G Kirk recently lost a battle to cancer
and his "constant companion" of the old days
was still with him. Freddie and Hope became
husband and wife and it lasted more than 50
years. Freddie Kirk will always be remem-
bered by those who knew him in the "old
days". My heart goes out to Hope and any
children born of their marriage. I know I
will still remember Freddie for as long as
I may live.
