Old Photos of Joseph Martin Elem School - 54

I am searching for some historical background of the old elementary school off Starling Avenue for a book that I am writing.
My mother attended that school, and I was wondering if any old pictures are floating around of the exterior of the school along with the playground and the big old Merry-Go-Round that was on the playgrounds?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
I ran across an old 1886 map of Martinsville which shows a lay-out of the main streets, hotels, tobacco warehouse, livery stables, etc. Anyone else interested in this type of old historical data?
