Hi, MHS'ers,

Well, our beloved website is having some difficulties again. The last two messages I posted have been lost into the ionosphere again.

On one of the messages I referred to the time when Dr. Norman Vincent Peale was our speaker during the weekly Assembly. I offered to send you Mavahians a copy of a really good tape by Dr. Peale (no charge, of course). It was recorded several years ago when he was our keynote speaker at the Ruritan National Convention in Atlanta. Just email me your mailing address at cdsparks@rjia.net , and I will send you a copy of the tape right away. It is an amusing, but powerful message by one of America's great orators, who also happened to be gracious enough to visit MHS once upon a time.

I hope Mavahi.Com will be repaired soon. John has done and is doing a marvelous job on this "labor of love" for all of us in the "Martinsville High School Family".

COULD I OFFER A COMMENT HERE TO ALL OF MY FELLOW MHS'ERS? WE REALLY, REALLY NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERY ONE OF US CONTRIBUTES SOME AMOUNT TO THIS WEBSITE TO HELP KEEP IT THE PREMIER SITE IT HAS BEEN. LET'S GIVE JOHN A HAND FINANCIALLY, FRIENDS. OKAY?
