| While reading an article on Viriginapreps this morning I came across the following notice: Sad day at SHS at the death of SHS teacher and avid Roanoke Valley golf supporter George May! Would this be George May from the 63 class? |

| Yes, this was our George May of MHS Class of 63. I live in Roanoke and just read his obit in Friday's paper. A memorial service will be held at John M. Oakey's Funeral Service in Salem at 10 AM on Sat, Nov. 17. |
