Breaks My Heart - 10

My wife, Myra (Thrasher)and I just returned from her class reunion ('65) at Rusty and Suzanne Lacy's incredible farm home in Axton. Today we're going to Susan Steele's (Dickerson) daughter's wedding, then to the Class of '65-sponsored Beach Boys Tribute concert, then to another dinner and dance at The Dutch Inn. Folks, Martinsville ain't dead and it ain't going to die. We live here and have attended all but 1 of the 9 Class of '65 reunions. I was in the class of '63. But it saddens me that we have had only 1 reunion that I can recall. The class of '65, however, has so many interesting and diverse members and they have been so kind to take me in that it makes me wish I had flunked a couple of years. P.S. Rusty, did the band ever show up?
