A very special thankyou to Garland Burch and all those who went to great effort to organize a fantastic 50th class reunion. Great seeing and renewing old friendships.

I agree with Bill 110%. Garland assumed the leadership role (that over 50 years no one else would consider)and organized an effective team....It really is/was a hoot seeing classmates again after not having seen many for 50 years or so.......

Speaking as just one member of his committee, I can testify that Garland made it a labor of love for over a year, and from Texas at that. His on site leader was Anne Mattox Lackey who gave of her time greatly, and made the hard local decisions that gave us this wonderful reunion.

That you all had a good time makes the effort more than worth it. I had a wonderful time and it was just great to see old friends that we have not seen for a long, long time. Special thanks to Leon who went above and beyond finding lost classmates and giving them the opportunity to attend as wellas helping park cars in the rain, David Reynolds for two nights of bar tending and serving on Anne's committee, Kittie Lea Ratcliff, Jenny Hensley for helping on the local committee. It was a team effort and we thank everyone who helped us find classmates, Sue Sampson, Molly Randolph and Leon Custer worked very hard in these efforts. It was fun and totally worth while, especially for everyone who was able to attend and take part in the festivities. Thanks

Thank you, Garland, for leading the charge and doing a fantastic job. You also made it lots of fun to pitch in. Anne Lackey, the sites and food were wonderful. Thank you for coordinating everything. And to everyone on the committee and all those who pitched in, many thanks. It was a great weekend and great to be with everyone. What a good turn-out we had!
