| Thought many would be saddened to know that Sam Lawrence (who taught me Auto Mechanics in 1963) died last month at age 83. Always liked him |

| Yes, I had Mr. Lawrence for auto mechanics also. Really a nice guy. I saw him at Clarence's during lunch on a trip back for the Old Dawgs about 3 years ago. He looked good and it was good to see him and get to visit. |

| Had Mr. Lawrence for 9 week (?) "exploratory" metal working shop class in the 8th grade. Thoroughly enjoyed his wry humor! |
