Saw today that Z.A. Mitchell had passed. He was a neighbor on Southside and we went to school together from 1st Grade through high school. He was a truck driver and the best Z.A. Story I ever heard came from Jay Shropshire. Jay said that when he was Chief of Staff for Governor Wilder, Z.A. Showed up at the Capitol one day asking to see Jay....another long time Southside friend. Z.A. Was driving by and wanted to say hello to Jay. Jay met with Z.A......showing the character of each. |

Z.A. was a special friend. I enjoyed spending time with him at our 50th reunion. In 2nd grade at Joseph Martin I often went home with him because his family had a TV. We watched Pinky Lee and Howdy Doody. |
