| Garland d passed away on July 9th at his home in San Antonio Texas. He was a fine engineer, a decorated Vietnam veteran and an outstanding human being. He will always be remembered as a kind and compassionate soul who cared about his family and his many friends. MHS was a better place because of Garland. He will be missed. |

So very sorry to hear about my classmate Garland Burch. We were friends through most of our 12 years in Martinsville schools and I never knew him to say or do anything that could not be looked back on with pride. God Speed Garland!
