I saw a beautiful photo on Instagram today that reminded me of Roger Porter, our dear friend and classmate. It was a sign at an overlook (milepost 90) on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It read: "View Porter Mountain." It was breathtaking. I couldn't help but think of Roger. He always lifted us up, just as he now has been lifted up into Heaven and into the loving arms of Jesus.
