Re: George May |
George,
I know the feeling. My 19 year old is a
second year freshman, and my 22 year old is
a first year sophmore...Good to see you on
the site. Is Whillis White still recruiting
in the Roanoke Valley?

Re: George May |
good to hear from you Ken- Willis White does not recuit!--he has a paid staff that does it for him!!!-- it is strange that in the last few years all the top kids that move into the area have got to Roanoke County or Botetourt County--Willis is using those home grown kids-- they are a lot like Mavahi- the sandlot is really big-- I have watched this years soph. grow up with my daugther-- they will have a few athletes--Carter Tate --Austin Casey- Greg Scharnus-- and of course he has the Schmitt kid , who is going to Tech-He is the one who kicked the 51 yard field goal in the regionals that put it out of reach for Northside. He has to find a few linemen who can block and play defense==it will be different this season because Pulaski and Wm. Fleming come into the Blue Ridge. I will start my34 year in the classroom this month- I think I will be good for 3 more-taht will get her out of high school--If it is still fun ten I will go on to 40 years!-It is hard to believe it has been that long- give me a kick back at rvgagolf@aol.com--take care and God bless George May |
