Hello all!! Woke up Sunday A.M. early and felt that I should jump in the car for the 330 mi. trip to Martinsville to see my mother and return New Years eve(Mon). The longer I hesitated and watched the rain outside, I decided not to go. Five o'clock that afternoon my son came by. Hearing what I had almost done that morning, he stated that we should leave around six that evening and make the trip. Now it is almost 48 hours later and the trip has been completed--returned home Mon. at 8 p.m.---- One of the best trips ever. It reminded me of one of my dad's version of visiting------after you say hello it is time to say goodbye. My brother and brother-in-law were golfing, so my son and I went shopping with my two sisters at the mall there. We saw Betty Sue Copenhaver there. It was a surprise and indeed a pleasure to see her.
