Brown Street Field - 11

Thanks to Dink Gardner,there is a photo of old Brown Street Field posted on the extra photos of the 64 site. proably mid to late 1950's...enjoy

My first visit to that field was, as a 7th grader from Clearview, I tried out for a Pony League team. All my playing had been done at Alvin Weaver's field and never under the lights. They hit a towering fly ball to me that I thought was out of sight, but somehow I caught it. I ended up on the Bargain Center team. Olag Hurd's day was the coach........and I had never seen anyone play like Olaf.
