Coach Larry M. Turner - 11

Larry Turner, a 1964 graduate of Bassett High School, passed away peacedully on June 13th while in hospice care and after a brief stay in Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Larry played football at Bassett High School and Guilford College. After college, Larry coached football at MAVAHI for 30 years as an assistant coach to Taylor Edwards class of 66. Larry was a Bengal, a Quaker, and definitely a Bulldog. He will be missed by 30 years of former players, students, and friends. Our condolences to his family.
