| Great article in the Roanoke Times about the legacy of coach Hall and Martinsville Basketball. It features the MHS state championship team of 1964. Picture includes Charles Van Lear, James Nester, Freddie Spencer, Cutch McCutcheon, Coach Cartwright and Coach Hall...Nice to see those faces in the newspaper again. Thank you coach Hall for Sharing your life with the class of 64. |

| He was a great coach, a wonderful man and new how to get the most from his players while making the game fun. Yes, he will be missed. RIP Coach. |

| Don Ramsey was one of them wearing one of the nets. I first met Coach Hall back in mid 50s at North Martinsville Elementary on Franklin St when I was oin the 1st and 2nd grades there. Will truly miss his sense of humor. |
