| Karen's husband, Alan passed away December 12, 2019. I don't get the Martinsville Bulletin anymore, so I wasn't aware of his passing until recently. Alan and Karen were married for 52 years and lived in Martinsville. They have two sons, Paul and Robert Lackey. Alan served in the Army reserve and was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a gregarious soul who never met a stranger and will be missed by his many friends and family.
