Ourclassmate William Shields passed away on October 7, 2020. He was 74 years old. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hilda Self Shields, four children and four grandchildren. His visitation is Sunday, October 11th between 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be Monday, October 12 at Norris Funeral Home at 1pm.
Goodby dear friend. I remember our childhood as if it was yesterday, hanging out at Midget Market and roaming the halls of Clearview School. You were the best...My condolences to you and your family Hilda. William "Bum" will be missed very much. |

| It is always sad to hear of a friend passing. I remember spending time at his house as our parents were friends. My condolences to Hilda and family. |

| Such good memories of William,"Bum Bum". I believe we were at S Martinsville and then at Clearview. Saw him last about 5 years ago at a funeral. I knew Hilda as well. Condolences to the family. |
