Tommy passed away today, September 29, 2023 at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Tommy never gave up during a very long period of illness. He had several health issues that ganged up on him during the past four months, but in true Tommy Hall fashion, he fought all,of them to to the very end. His daughter Kerri, wife Betty Allen, stepdaughter Lauren, and step son Scott were at his bedside when he left us all for a better place. It was my great honor to also be with him just hours before his passing. He was not responsive during my visit, but I think he knew I was there. Before leaving his CCU room, I leaned over him and whispered a special phrase he and I always shared, kissed him on the forehead, told him I loved him, and said goodbye. I will miss my dear friend until the end of my days.

Re: Thomas Elmo Hall |
My condolences go out to his daughter, his wife and stepson and stepdaughter. Ken Wilson told me of Tommy's passing on the phone tonight. Wilson and I played football with Tommy throughout our high school days and he was a fun guy to be around. After I moved I lost track but he and Wilson built a special bond with each other after they both moved back to Martinsville. He will be missed by many, but my memories of Tommy during high school will always be remembered. God Bless and Rest in Peace |
