Hey Sallie. The weekend has come and gone and though it was cold and rainy, it was great fun. Attending from our class were Jean Branham, Douglas Finney,
Tommy Hall, Lonnie Carter, Mike Robertson, Dink and Ann Carter, Ken Wilson, Nancy Mayhew, Betty Sue Copenhaver, and myself.
I may have left someone out, so forgive me,
please! Tommy looked resplendent in his maroon and grey letter sweater. There were
about 250 +/- people there and it was fun seeing people from other classes too, all in all a great turnout considering the weather. When it came time to sing the school songs, it was pretty weak until Ann Carter went out on the gym floor and generated some enthusiasm
by leading us in song and cheers! There are plans underway to make this a yearly event so if you join the alumni association you will receive newsletters about upcoming events and class members. See you in June! |

| I forgot to mention Jimmy Brammer who also attended the BBQ. Jinky and Danny Critz joined us later for dinner at Forest Park where most of us who were at the BBQ earlier continued to party! |
