| I was stunned to learn of Betty's death. She called me about a year ago out of the blue. We talked for two hours as if all these years hadn't gone by but she never mentioned any illness. I am so glad we were able to laugh and giggle with each other once more. |

Hi Phyllis! I haven't checked this website in quite sometime, and I just found your mail about Betty Hankins. Do you have any additional information. I'm shocked, and saddened, she was a good friend. I left Martinsville in 1986, therefore I'm lost as to any news from there.
Thanks for any news on Betty.
