To the class of '64, I want to you keep Tommy in your prayers, especially this week. It has been found that he has several blockages on both sides of his heart. Surgery will be sometime this week at Roanoke Memorial. He loves this class and I know that he would want me to share this news with you. In life , we go through good times and bad times, so please send us good thoughts in this bad time.
Many of you have also become good friends to me and I have really appreciated that.

| Betty, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Tommy now during this difficult time. I'm sure you are both hopeful and confident that surgery can fix it and he will recover as good as new. I'd love to have his hospital address so I can send a card. Perhaps you can post it here or send it to me via email. Please let him know I'm pulling for him and look forward to seeing his smiling face soon. |
