| Night Train----Now there is a memory. When did it first hit the airwaves. How long did it last? What time at night? And did you call in a dedication????? I do remember them playing "Sixteen Candles"> JERRY |

Nightrain was the signoff song for the 8-10pm rock program at WMVA. It was followed by easy listening 10-11pm and the 11oclock news. "Nightrain" was the theme song started by "DJ" Herman Holland for his jazz program that became a rock format when John Trenton became the evening DJ. I was the Friday and Saturday night DJ 1962-1964. John Trenton moved to Charleston, SC and was named DJ of the Year by Billboard magazine. I currently do race car engineering (have been the engineer for Michael Waltrip, Ricky Rudd, and Kasey Kahne.
