Hi!
I saw that the Class on '63 is having their reunion of the 7th of Oct; any chance of combining the reuions like we once did, especially since the race is on the 17th?

Hi Douglas,
I talked with Ann Carter, and that is the weekend that she chose. If you want to contact her about a possible change, please do it soon because the only official notice ( besides what is going to be posted on mavahi.com) will be going out at the end of this week.If I don't hear of a change by this Friday,(June11) I will stick with the orginal weekend date. Check Judy's response to one of my earlier postings here about the reunion. Her email address is there. I am not at my regular computer, so I don't have my address box.

Douglas,
Disregard my last message about the possibility of changing the date. The weekend of Oct. 15-17 is the date Ann Carter chose, so I am sending out the info based on what she told me. I haven't seen any notice about the class of '63, but they can easily contact A.C. if they would like to combine the parties. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned.
I am sure she would like volunteers to help with organizing the events. Once I know the details, they will be posted here on mavahi.com. I am sure I do not have addresses for everyone, so after I get the initial mailing out, I will send out a "where are they?" list. It would be great if you would help track down folks.
I am looking forward to reconnecting with everyone again. Thanks for trying to keep us all informed.

The Martinsville race is October 24th. I am sure that Ann Carter is well aware of this, as Dink always works at the track on race weekend. Perhaps if the class of '63 does not get a good response as in past years, they might entertain the idea of joining ours. Does Ann Carter have an e-mail address? If not, who do we send suggestions for the reunion format to?
