Just found the site and have been enjoying reading the messages before heading out in the traffic. I am working in Atlanta managing a Purchasing Dept. with Russell Corporation. Worked in Purchasing 28 years with Lacy Mfg/Pannill Knitting/Sara Lee Knit Products. Left Sara Lee/Winston-Salem in 1999 for Russell. My wife, Brenda, and I along with our cat, Sherlock, have just this week moved into our new house in Kennesaw, GA. Our son, Jason, is in school in Asheville, NC and my other son, Chris, lives in Laurel Park.
Hope everyone is doing well. Would love to see or hear from all of you.
Regards,
Leroy Martin (now known as Lee) |

Re: Hey everybody |
Dear Lee and Brenda, What a week to move! It is good to know where you are now
and I want to let you know that Laverne Moore lives in Kennisaw also; in fact,
she has lived there for years. Jean and Jennifer are heading up the reunion for next
June (week-end of the 21st. Hope you and Brenda will be able to come back for that.
We have been in shock this week with everyone else across the country. Hope that
you and Brenda are enjoying your new home. Please let us hear from you when you
have time.
Sincerely, Ann and Dink

Re: Hey everybody |
Leroy! (sorry, I just can't seem to call you Lee )... Its great to see your message. I remember a lot of uproarious times when you were around. Don't ask me for the details, 'cause all I remember is that they were uproarious! I lived in Atlanta after I got out of the Army, but I'm guessing its a different Atlanta now than the one I remember. I was a W&M grad then, delivering furniture to people's houses for JC Penneys, and my partner on the truck was a graduate of Auburn. We set a new educational standard for furniture delivery, but still got lost an awful lot. Its nice to read about you and your family. |
