For anyone interested in making a donation, the Jean Reid Memorial Scholarship Fund, 3330 King Street, Alexandria VA 22302 has been established in Jean's name. It will be an annual scholarship for a student interested in elementary education, where Jean spent her entire career teaching, being a reading specialist and consulting in education. Another is the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Foundation Fund, 218 S. Pitt Street, Alexandria VA 22314.
Her family would prefer donations in lieu of flowers and both of these will ensure her legacy.
