| Watching the Animal Planet channel last night, I happened upon the AKC eukanuba National Best in Show dog show in Tampa, being shown live. Of hundreds, maybe thousands of dogs entered, there was Susan Strachan with her beautiful llasa apso Pete who took first place in the nonsporting dogs class. Susan breeds, raises, trains and shows her dogs and obviously has reached the very top in her field. It was so fun to watch! Susan looked great, too, and Ron Reagan, the announcer, mentioned Susan's grace and skill in showing Pete at just the right pace. I just knew she was going to win overall Best in Show, but instead an Alaskan Malamute took that honor. Way to go, Susan! I'm so proud of you and your accomplishment (If I knew your email address, I'd write you personally.) |

That was quite an honor for Susan Strachan Giles' dog to win big at the National Dog Show.
I noticed you would like her email address: By scrolling down the 1964 postings I came upon an August 9, 2001 posting by your friend, Susan.
I don't know if her email address has changed over those several years, but back then it was
