| I was just remembering Frank Barrows and his great interest in keeping Major League Baseball statistics, especially on the New York Yankees. I heard he might be in Charlotte. I remember many of us listening to the radio during school in 1961 when the Yankees lost to the Pirates---that was a dark afternoon. I also was remembering a group of us would meet in the auditorium before school to hang out and wait for the bell, but I can't remember a lot of the names. If you were part of that group, can you give me some of the names? |

Hello, Judy. It is such a good feeling to get a response. I remember you as a very good student. I think that you and my friend Johnny Shenal were in the advanced classes together. Thanks for your interest in Frank. At the time of the '06 posting, I had heard that Frank worked for the "Charlotte Observer".
