My condolences to Peanut's family. Walter was a very friendly and likeable. He always made me laugh. I'll always remember him as softspoken guy with a devious smile when he was up to something.God bless you Peanut, you'll always be with us.

| I too had some good times with Peanut, we were like outsiders to most in our class but we had some realy good times. I tried to talk to him several times by phone but he wouldn't come to the phone. Does anyone know if he had been sick for awhile? I have also tried talking to Skip Riggins but all he ever passed on was he hadn't been back to Martinsville for a long time. I know that when I go to the school to watch my kids play soccer, I'll scan the seats looking for a familar face but no luck Still trying to make it to one of these gatherings. Richard |
