| I saw in the Bulletin that Joel's mother died in Colorado. They will be back in Martinsville for the funeral. I know we will keep Joel and his family in our thoughts. |

Joel used to live around the corner from me. He had a dog-Peggy, I think- who was very friendly, but I was terrified of her. I was such a wimp.
Joel's mother, as I recall, was so friendly and energetic. Quite a lady. I'm sure she is missed. |
