The wife and I are planning our second trip of the summer. We are going to look for diamonds in Arkansas. There is a state park south of Hot Springs, where diamonds can be found in a large field either by walking and looking or digging. We are leaving on 9/13 and stay in KOAs until Hot Springs. We will stay 5 days in Hot Springs and go looking for diamonds when we can. Leave on 9/20 to go pan for gold in Thermal City, NC for up to 5 days. Then a day trip home. We hope to find some diamonds and then enough gold to make a ring. HAHAHAHA... It will be another adventure with our rv.
Retirement is so great. I don't even remember ever working. Do not miss a thing about it.
Everyone have a great summer and will see you in Oct.

| George, since retiring, adventure seems to be your middle name. Eating alligator, hunting for diamonds, driving under a city, visiting the Gene Autry Museum....don't stop,keep us posted. This is better than the seven sequels to Indiana Jones....3am in a Wal-Mart parking lot is a lot more exciting than the 'Temple of Doom'.... archie |
