Outside of seeing Bruce Schreibfeiter on Jeapordy, I don't recollect any of our grads or offspring, being on National TV...other than Sonny Wade. I know that all of you Mville. people, as well as we Roanoke Valley people are aware of Jim and Myra Stegall's son Erik, playing in a backup band for Percy Sledge, on Good Morning America, yesterday (Mon. March 14 am). They represented the 'ville' well, but the lyrics...'when a man loves a woman, can't think of nothing else, not a bug or a mouse...in the house', was a little different than the original version. Think maybe Jim got to the sheet music. We should have this group for our reunion in August, but I doubt that we could afford such great talent. Way to go...Jim and Myra...know that you are proud parents....archie |

Did not know Brue Schriebfeder was ever on Jeapordy, never saw Sonny Wade on television, and missed the "Good Morning, America" show on March 14th! Congratulations to Bruce, Sonny, and Erik for their accomplishments.
With parents like Jim and Myra, how could Erik not be good?! |

Dear Archie,
last year, our class president 1964, Billy Cotty, appeared on Comdey Central. As usual, he was a hoot...Thought you would like to know. My best to Jim, Myra and their extremely talented son...
