Dear Kathy:
It is with regret that I will not be able to attend our 40th reunion due to previous plans to attend an out of town wedding of a good friends daughter. I think about our class often and make reference to the class annual wondering were each class member might be and what they are doing today.
As for myself I am doing well living in the Yorktown, VA area working for Northrop Grumman (formerly Newport News Shipbuilding) in the Engineering Department. I am also presently serving as a School Board Member for the York County School Division for which I am in my third four year term. I find this to be very interesting and time consuming, but enjoyable. I have been married to my wife Katherine for the past 34 years this past July and we have two daughters Whitney 27 and Marla 22.
I wish all a wonderful reunion with my sincere regards and only regrets that I will not be able to attend. I can only hope that there will be another opportunity in the near future for another reunion of the Class of 65.

| Page....nice to discover another homeboy living in the Tidewater area. I have lived on the southside of Hampton Roads for 34 years, retiring from the federal government in April 2004. I have been job hunting for a "real" job as my older-but-not-necessarily-wiser brother, Melvin (Class of '63) so aptly puts it. I was interviewed for a position with your company at the Joint Warfare Center in Suffolk a few months ago. Hope you and the wife can find room in your schedules to attend the Old Dawgs reunion in October. |
