With a very heavy and sad heart, our Class of 1967, will mourn the loss of CAROLE KAPLAN BINSWANGER. I spoke with her husband Bob, this morning. Carole passed away on June 6, 2016.
My Lovely Friend, I will miss you, and cherish all of our wonderful times together. I feel truly Blessed to have shared so many fun and wonderful times with you.

| So sad to learn that Carole is no longer with us...she lived "down the street and around the corner" from me when we were in grade school and into high school. I remember when she sat in front of me in senior English class and we'd talk about what sweater we'd wear the next day....not because we were "fashionable" but because our mothers traded knitting patterns and we didn't want to wear the same pattern on the same day! Sounds so silly now but it mattered then! I will miss our email conversations and all the "catching up" we did at the reunions. This is why reunions are important: appreciating "who" and "what" really matters. |

| So sorry to hear about Carole Kaplan's death. Her name brings back so many classroom and hallway memories of Martinsville High. My sympathies to her family and to everyone who kept in touch with her after all these years. |
