Hello, Mrs. Sutton,
I just wondered if you were referring in your message to Mr. Harold Cumberledge, who was my esteemed Principal at Clearview Elementary back in the late 50's?
If so, I just wanted to relay to you, (and to him, also) what great memories I have of his leadership over the school. Mr. Cumberledge had a way of interacting with the students in such a congenial, yet firm, manner. He could make a person feel like he was special. My recollections of him are all "tree-top tall."
Please convey to Mr. Cumberledge my warmest greetings and my very highest respects.

| Yes, Dr. Sparks, Connie was referring to Harold Cumberledge. He's alive and well in Martinsville. I know this because I am his daughter and Connie's sister. Thank you for the kind remarks. |
