I hope everyone has taken a chance to check out the Fieldale Lodge on line. Anne and I rode up there Sunday afternoon and it's beautiful. The flowers and tree were in bloom and you feel like you're sitting on top of the mountain when you look out. Make sure you bring your tennis shoes for walking the River Trail. It's a nice trail along the Smith River. Also, you guys they have stocked the river with trout so if you're into fishing...Girls they do have a nice pool with chair around it and several swings around the yard for resting. I think everyone will enyoy their stay there. If you haven't had a chance to look at the logdge go to www.theclubhouseresort.com and check it out.
