I hope that I can do this right so everyone will know what's going on. I have been accecpted by Duke to participate in a brain tumor study for people diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme. Fortunately, I will be able to have everythig done here at our new cancer center There are 125 people in this study in which I'm # 98. I start radiation Friday Jan. 16th in conjuntion with the chemical drug temozolomide also known as Temador (orally ) for six and a half weeks ( 33 days ) Towards the end of radiation / Temador I will start on the Avastin / Irinotecan ( twice a month for 6 months, intravenously ) Link below. I will return to Duke every 8 weeks for check-ups and evaluation. Keep me in your prayers. - Roger
