Thanks to all of you who sent cards, called and emailed me when I lost dad on Nov 7th. It was so unexpected - he was playing golf one week & in the hospital the next. But, I think he would have wanted to go quickly. Right before he passed away he gazed into the corner of the hospital room and got a big smile on his face, then he laughed and said "WOW!" and peacefully passed away. I can only imagine what he saw. It's comforting to me to know that he and mom are together again. Just came home last night from Wisconsin where we buried dad with full military honors right next to mom.
Special thanks to Will & Molly who do so much for our class and who sent a beautiful fall basket of flowers to the funeral home. I broght them home with me. It's so wonderful to have all of you for friends and I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. |
