Our classmate, Walker Pollard has passed away. He had flown to visit his brother, George, and after the flight had chest pains and died of a heart attack. I remember Walker as a very sweet, caring person who was also very smart but humble.Many of you who went to VA Tech with him probably have more memories of him, too.
The class of '68 expresses our sympathy to Walker's family and know that he's in a good place. But those of us left behind will miss him greatly. |

| I just connected with Walker on Facebook a few weeks ago and enjoyed catching up. Can't beleive how suddenly he is gone...but not forgotten. |
