| Sorry to hear of his journey onward. He was a Great Coach and Great Friend to us all. I remember our half time talks, "The Hounds Get the Gravy" then he would look at me and Blankenship and say, "looks like you boys might be a little hungry"..... |

I too remember Coach Hensley's words on those crisp autumn days of yore. Of course I remember best those darkened Monday afternoon classrooms watching films. He often asked my opinion by exclaiming, "WHITE!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!
He was a very special guy, and at our last reunion, I was able to talk with him about how his example was a worthy model formany of us. |
