Anita Barrett Lester
Anita Barrett Lester, 64, of Patrick Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Richmond on September 16, 1950, to Mavis Tilley Barrett and the late Robert E. Barrett.
In addition to her father Anita is preceded in death by her son, Robbie Lawrence; brother, Robert “Rocky” Barrett; sister, Patricia Potter; and grandchild, Sara Elizabeth Shelton. Anita was a member of God’s House of Prayer.
In addition to her mother, Anita is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lester; daughter, Angela Lawrence Reynolds and her husband, Russell; grandchildren, Jesse Shelton, Blake Lawrence, Gracie Lawrence and Walker Lawrence; brother, Ronnie Barrett and his wife, Cynthia; sisters, Sharon Vernon and her husband, Rick and Regina Collins and her husband, Raymond; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Waller officiating. Burial will follow the service at God’s House of Prayer Church Cemetery.
