| I just discovered this site. How cool. It's good to read about all of you. Mitch and I are going to the UVA-VT game in Blacksburg this Thanksgiving and wondered if any Martinsvillians might be there. If so, let me know and maybe we can arrange to meet. Also, when are we going to have another reunion? (Easy for me to ask being as I live out of state and won't have to do any of the hard work). |

| Hi Janice, I'm not sure of when '68 is having a reunion. The "ole dawgs" reunion was just held on Oct. 16 at the cafeteria of the school on Cleveland Ave. We had a good turn out for the 3rd year in a row. If my memory serves me there were no class of '68 there. We are having a reunion every year. We haven't set a date for next year(2005) yet, but should set it before January. I don't know where you live, but Kathy Foster started this reunion 3 years ago and she lives in Conn. If you check the home page of this web site it will give you more info. on the reunions. You and Mitch make this a great day and hope to see you both at the "ole dawgs" reunion in 2005. |

| Hi, Janice...as my brother, Melvin, told you in his reply, we just held our 3rd annual Old Dawgs of Cleveland Ave reunion for all those who ever attended the old school on Cleveland. Unfortunately, I did not see anyone from the classes of '66 thru '68 there like I did in the previous two. If you scroll down the 1968 message board and click on the topic Reunion that Jennifer Strachan posted you will find several of your classmates have posted as well and their e-mail addresses are cited there. Someone previously from Class of '68 had suggested sateliting on our reunion next month but the idea was vetoed by our class. We've been holding ours every 5 years since the 20th reunion. If nothing blossoms for your class between now and next year, be glad to see you at the next Old Dawgs reunion (date TBD). |

| One more thing...there are a few VT/UVA grads from my class, but not sure who is going to that particular game. You can contact Tom Carpenito (TCarpenito@aol.com) and Bob Bushnell (bob_bushnell@yahoo.com) to see if they know of any from Martinsville or formerly from there who will be attending the game. I'd almost lay even money that Carpenito will be since he is a big VT fan |
