I am not yet ready to boogaloo down Broadway, but I am moving around better than I thought I would be at 2 1/2 weeks out. I switched from the walker to a cane earlier this week, and while physical therapy is becoming increasingly painful, I am seeing improvement on a daily basis. One beneficial sidelight is that I have dropped 25 pounds...it is much harder to get to the refrigerator, and one of my wife's favorite movies is Misery. She has been a great nurse, but it has been a tough transition from green chili cheeseburgers to South Beach salads.
