I have previously taken the opportunity to tease my fellow Mavahian friends that attended Virginia Tech, and I think you all know that it was always in a spirit of friendship. With the tragedy that has unfolded today, I want all of you folks with children at Tech, and Hokie alunmi, to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. |

Re: Thoughts and Prayers |
Thanks! My daughter Elizabeth is in her first year at Virginia Tech but is a sophmore. We found out that she was okay early today, but one can't help but continue to worry! It helps to know that people are holding us up in thoughts and prayers. I am a 79 graduate but wanted to just say thanks to you! Take care. |

Thank you so much for your message. I went to Tech many years ago and have only fond memories of the time I spent there. |

Re: Thoughts and Prayers |
Thank you Bob for your message. My niece Cynthia & husband {Paul} Thomas are staff members with Campus Crusade for Christ @ VTech - this is their 2nd year counseling students. They knew 4 of the students who died in this horrible tragedy. Please continue to pray for all students, families, and staff as they really appreciate being remembered. Cynthia is the daughter of my brother {Chip Wood - Class '73} |
