I am sorry to read of Doug's passing in the Bulletin.
He was a kind soul, and a fellow music fan. When he worked at the record department of Globman's, we always talked about the latest album releases. Doug and I also went to a lot of concerts together, like Grand Funk Railroad, Blood Sweat & Tears, Canned Heat, J. Geils Band, and more.
Just a great guy. My condolences to his family and friends.

R.I.P., classmate. I still recall our senior year at the new school where vehicles in the parking lot had to be moved so the marching band could practice its routines on the marked pavement (pre-Greene stadium days). I was the one who always moved Doug's old station wagon-almost ran over my fellow band members one time.
My condolences to Doug's family-he will be missed. |
