I would like to join my classmates in extending our deepest sympathy to Donna (Cumberledge)Miller in the passing of her father, Mr Harold Cumberledge (Mr. C to some of us). You and your family are in our prayers and in our hearts. Mr. Cumberledge was an educational influence on me from 1st thru 12th grades, starting with North Martinsvile School thru high school. |

Re: SYMPATHY |
Thanks, Nelson. Daddy had many friends and other people he had influenced. One card we got was from a former student he had taught biology at MHS and driving as an adult. She said, "he taught her well in science, but her children thought he may have missed the mark teaching her how to drive." I remember when he taught adult women to drive. Many of the over 60's women in Martinsville today learned to drive from him. I only hope that the people who so admired my Daddy, will speak to Mama when they see her and keep her in their prayers. Thanks for your kind words and caring.
Donna (Cumberledge) Miller |
