Please check out the MHS Band website for info regarding the Jazz Band reunion on May 14, 2005. The festivities will be part of Jazz XXXVII and Mr. Mac and I are excited about having any willing alumni up on stage for a couple of tunes. The website is www.martinsville.k12.va.us/mhs/band

| I was the first female member of the Stageband. As the vocalist, I got to sing, played the tamborine occasionally and got to travel with a great group of cute guys and Mr. Mac. I have lots of wonderful memories of Stageband and Mr. Mac. As far as stories go, I fell in love with one of the trombone players and we've been married for almost 32 years. I wouldn't miss the Jazz XXXVII reunion for anything. The cute trombone player (Randy Shank) and this old, gray-haired woman will be there. I'm still singing. Randy still has his trombone. I'll encourage him to get it out and get his lip back in shape! At our Class of 69 reunion this past November, we displayed a poster from Jazz I. We'll bring it. Thanks for helping this happen.
