I have recently discovered the website and message board and have really enjoyed catching up on the news. I've been gone from Martinsville for 18 years now--seems like forever sometimes, and just yesterday at others.
My Mom, Margaret Blane, had moved to Bowling Green to live with us 8 years ago. She recently passed away. While we had a memorial service here, we will be returning to Martinsville for a local memorial service on May 15, 1:30 p.m., at First United Methodist Church. John Fulcher will be conducting the service. My husband Mike and I would love to see anyone who can visit with us.
Thanks to Dawn Shank for putting me in touch with everyone. Best wishes to Randy for a continued recovery!

My condolences to you and your family. Though I will be in town this weekend, I won't be able to attend the service because of a family reunion that day.
